VC 2.0 - Ventilation Cleaning
VC 2.0 is a permanent cleaning system made in Germany for kitchen exhaust and ventilation systems. Through the synergy
between the VC 2.0 cleaning system and the VC 2.0 cleaning liquid, deposits such as oils and grease are dissolved and removed from the exhaust ducts. Thus, fire hazard
is minimized. The ongoing cleaning of the ducts makes the uninterrupted operation of kitchens possible and therefore
reduces investment and maintenance costs.
The VC 2.0 Liquid is a non-toxic enzymatic cleaner for the permanent cleaning of kitchen exhaust ducts in the catering, hotel and food industry. Through the internal Siemens control panel, the system can be programmed separately for peak and
off-peak operating hours. The enzymatic nano-cleavage of organic deposits is gentle on the material and prevents the
accumulation of residues. The enzymes used in the cleaning liquid are completely biodegradable and non-hazardous. The
VC 2.0 Liquid is NSF (P1) certified for use in and around exhaust air systems.
In order to use the VC 2.0, fine atomizer nozzles are mounted in the ductwork. The spray interval for the system to spray the
cleaning liquid into the exhaust air duct is programmed individually.
The exhaust air distributes the VC 2.0 Liquid evenly in the duct system. The biochemical principle of action dissolves organic contaminants such as oils, grease, resins, waxes and carbon black by cleaving them
into flowable degradation products. These can be easily removed from the system via oil collection troughs and drain taps.

The VC 2.0 Liquid is a slightly alkaline, non-toxic cleaner. Enzymes are used to continuously and effectively degrade burnt-on and hardened grease deposits in kitchens, restaurants and the food industry. Proper use of the VC 2.0 spraying system excludes the possibility of contact with
food. To ensure safe use, the VC 2.0 Liquid
is NSF certified for use around exhaust air
The VC 2.0 system uses the waste heat of the duct itself and requires no additional energy
supply to perform the cleaning process.
The enzymes are completely biodegradable,
very gentle on the material they are
applied to, and extend the service life of
filters, motors and heat exchangers.
As biocatalysts, enzymes are highly effective in splitting fats. They are not used up in the process, and from an environmental perspective, they make the use of a variety of cleaning-active substances
such as solvents and complexing agents unnecessary. In addition, cleaning-active substances often leave sticky residues, which increase further deposition.
Surfactants already dissolve fats before enzymatic cleavage, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the enzymes in the aqueous phase of the cleaner. After enzymatic
cleavage, the cleaved fat molecules
are liquefied by the surfactants and can be removed from the duct in the course of solvation.
All fat-like odoriphores can be broken down or cleaved by the enzyme used in the cleaning liquid. Sulfur-based odoriphores
cannot be enzymatically degraded.
Instead, they are enclosed by an odor absorber added for that purpose.
Optional inhibitors can be added to the cleaning medium to protect the individual components against corrosion. The components can therefore be used longer and their durability is increased.
